2Very Thin Material  May 29, 2011

I wanted this shirt badly enough to pay $25 for a T-shirt (probably a good sign of being a fanatic). But, for the money I would have expected a Hanes Beefy-T or something similar. This is an Anvil Knitware (?) brand shirt, and if I hold it up to the window I can see daylight through it. Maybe it's cool in the sun, but I don't expect it will last too long.

I love this shirt. It is much darker than shown. I'm not sure if the text has faded over time or not, but there isn't a lot of contrast between the shirt and the logo. If you want to read it, you really have to look hard. Also, the shirt doesn't say "Firefly" or anything franchise-related, which I think is totally awesome. I have had more than one person ask me what Blue Sun was. I don't normally wear printed-tees, especially movie shirts, but this shirt looks so awesome, I tend it wear it on casual Fridays at work. Good fit, good material, and definitely a good TV show.

I love this shirt, the color is deep, it fits true to size, and it references the greatest show no one watched, firefly. Subtle enough to where most people won't get the joke and annoy you about it while you're walking down the street. The shirt feels comfortable and feels like a good quality. Get this for the Whedon-nerd in your life and tell them to keep flying.

I was sad when I got this shirt and it looked nothing like the picture. The shirt is far too dark for the dark blue logo, and almost gets lost. I could almost deal with the color, but the cheap itchy material made me cringe. I should have stopped there, but I so wanted to like this shirt. I gave it a wash with the expectation that it would shrink some and fit me properly, and I had hoped it would take the edge off of the itchiness. This did not happen as one would expect. The shirt shrank about 3 or so inches up, and not in. Now I am left with an itchy, hot, too wide and too short shirt I will never wear. The logo covers almost the entire front of the shirt and not just the chest and upper abdominal area as shown.
