Harry Potter Puzzle Sep 03, 2010
By A. Bogaev So this puzzle is not best for young kids as it is not the easiest puzzle. Many of the pieces fit in multiple places and you have to look really close at the pattern and color on the piece to see if it is in the right place. I just finished the puzzle and it took some serious work to get it right. I recommend it for teenage and adult fans of Harry Potter.

Loved it. Feb 06, 2010

"serious jigsaw fan"
An excellent and challenging puzzle. The darker colors in the background made it a bit difficult. That is saying something as I am a very experienced jigsaw puzzle solver!

AWFUL PUZZLE!!!! Jul 26, 2010
By Mary Ellen Flynn I cannot believe some the positive reviews on this puzzle. It makes me wonder about their authenticity!!! We love doing puzzles as a family and our kids recently selected one each from Amazon. This one was a complete disappointment!!! It seems there is a very small repeat cut so that many, many, many pieces fit together perfectly albeit incorrectly. Honestly, it was a waste of money and I'm hoping to be able to return it.

not for inexperienced puzzlers Sep 29, 2010
By raine this puzzle was very cool looking, but very frustrating to put together. the pieces were so similar it was difficult to tell if they were in the right place-sometimes not until an entire section was complete were we able to see that some pieces did not fit and something was amiss. the puzzle looks great when finished but was quite perplexing to put together. i would not recommend it for the fair weather fan of puzzlers, this one is for serious doers only! two very experienced puzzlers took over 40 hours (total time) to finally get it right. we average about 8 hours per 1000 piece puzzles. in the end, it was worth it, because the picture looks like it was painted (those brush strokes helped, too!) and it looks great framed!

DO NOT BUY THIS PUZZLE Jan 05, 2012
By applebutter Admittedly, this looks like a really cool puzzle. I mean, Hogwarts looks totally epic here, who can argue that? However, I must caution you before buying. I too looked through a bunch of reviews for this puzzle before I bought it (after all it is THIRTY DOLLARS!!). I saw all the reviews that said "oh some of the pieces fit in other places". I was not deterred. They must not know how to work puzzles. I think I can tell if a piece fits! I must have this puzzle! So I bought it to work with my excellent puzzle worker sister. She gave up after about an hour. I still remained steadfast that this was going to be a great puzzle and soldiered on by myself. I was able to hold it together when wrong pieces kept fitting in the wrong places (and they also fitted with those around it so you could not tell it did not really fit). I was fine.......until I got to the last piece of the puzzle AND IT DID NOT FIT IN THE LAST SPACE!!!! I eventually found the misplaced piece and completed the puzzle, but that is completely ridiculoso for that to happen in the first place. Save your thirty bucks.
