Great Detail and a very good investment Feb 19, 2009
By Jason E. Budrow
"Violent J"
A couple month ago i get in to collecting figures of my horror movie icons. And i wanted to get a "Sack Head Jason", But the one that SideShow offers looked frigile and the color of his plad clothes were wrong (white&blue instead of Blue and a darker blue) and since am big on details i couldnt have brought it without those details bothering me. but then i saw pics of this figure a couple weeks ago, followed but the movie last friday(which was great) and i decided to purchase this figure for the "Sack Head" look. And when i got it i was blown away byy the detail and acurracy of the model. So if you looking for an alturnative to the SideShow Part 2 "Sack Head" this is a great figure and at 45 dollars it a great buy. I give it the highest recommendation possible!!!

A must-have for Friday the 13th fans Mar 17, 2009
By Wladimir Bassett-torres Based on the new Friday the 13th reboot, this 18" Jason is a fantastic action figure from NECA. The sculpt is great and so is the articulation. It also comes with an alternate 'sack' head, and as if that wasn't good enough, the hockey mask comes off revealing Jason's true face. Normally I only collect the smaller-scale 7" figures, but I'm glad I decided to give this bigger one a try. It simply looks amazing on my shelf and it's easily the best Jason in my collection.

Jason Jan 22, 2010
By Edward III
"Alpha Sixx"
I ordered a total of 8 18 inch action figures of all the villans I could get my hands on and this Jason was one of them. I pulled him out of the box and noticed he had long hair that seemed really lame my old lady said the same thing so I got some scissors and cut it off it is only attached to the straps on his mask so no one will ever notice. And now he is almost perfect. This toy has a ton of detail from head to toe and he comes with another head and you can take his mask off. I love the length of his machette of all the action figures I bought this Jason is the most menacing looking. I have him posed with the his machette and right arm pointing straight out as if pointing at somone with it. He looks more muscular in real life than he does in the picture that makes him look more powerfull than the rest of my figures. It has been many years since I watched the Friday the 13th parts 7 and up so I am not familiar with the clothes he is wearing and the hair he has. But this toy is well worth more than what I paid. I did see another more classic looing 18 inch version of Jason with a cool looking jumpsuit but the figure was around 5-6 times the price of this one.

The new Jason Oct 19, 2009

This massive figure of the new image of Jason Voorhees as portrayed by Derek Mears is dead on. It looks fantastic, is excellently sculpted, and appears identical to the character in Friday the 13th. Comes well packaged in a large box with clear plastic window. It comes with two replaceable heads, the early Sackhead and then the hockey mask wearing head. On the second head, you can remove the mask for the disfigured visage of Jason himself. Elbow articulation is rather useless (pivots but doesn't bend), wrists fully rotate but no movement in the waist or legs. Nonetheless, it's just amazing to look at and will top off you Jason display.
