I received a set of these COG tags for Christmas last year and I love them. They look great, they are nice and heavy and even wearing them constantly hasn't made them fade or chip.

So I bought these cog tags not expecting much more than a cheap rip off of the ones from the Gears of War game. I was quite mistaken. These tags are made of an extremly durable metal and definately have the weight to prove it. As a side note- the chain on which the cogs are strung is very long and the cogs hang down around the solar plexus area. If you want something that to just wear around as a necklace, this probably isnt the right choice, but if you want some badass tags, then these are great.

These are heavy duty and a great piece for wearing or decor.
PROS
- Very heavy duty COG tags.
- Heavy Duty Chain
- Great for Decor
- Great for Wearing
CONS
- The COGS cannot be removed from teh chain without breaking the ring holding them or the chain.
I was hoping to put them on a shorter chain, but am not disappointed at all!

Join the Coalition of Ordered Governments, show off your prowess in extermination of filthy grubs! This is the perfect necklace for any fan of the Gears of War-series, I wear it wherever I go. If people haven't played the games they'll wonder what's hanging around your neck, and there's a way to bring them into the world of Gears. The only downside is that it hangs a little low, but adjusting it or replacing the chain shouldn't be too much of a problem. They also clank together whenever you take a step, but that's a minor price to pay if you're a soldier in the cause for Sera! These are sturdy, legible and heavy, the perfect accessory for any Gearhead.

The package arrived on time and the COG tags are pretty awesome. I don't know how the other people had a problem with the length of the chain...I'm 5'9" and the chain lays just below the center of my chest (perfect imo). The tags themselves are quite loud even just walking around. Without putting something on them to silence them they get annoying, but other than that they are perfect for any fan of the GOW saga. I would recommend this product.
